Liangshan Hound

It is estimated that its weight can range between 20 and 35 kilograms, and its height at the withers can be between 50 and 65 centimeters. Regarding their life expectancy, it is estimated to be between 10 and 14 years. They are not recognized by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI).

The coat can vary in length, being shorter on the body and longer on the tail and neck. Regarding characteristic colors, they usually present a bicolor or tricolor coat, with patterns that may include shades of white, black, gray, brown and spots. Common health problems

Information on the most common diseases in the breed is very limited. Even so, it is likely to be predisposed to some of the most common disorders in dogs such as hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, progressive retinal atrophy, cataracts and heart disease.
