Even though dogs enjoy sniffing each other as if it were the greatest pleasure in the world, and turning everything into a bathroom, we consider their privacy to be important. That is why we assure both dogs and humans that we use the valuable information they provide us with correctly and scrupulously following European legislation.
Therefore, we want you to know that in compliance with the GDPR (EU) and after compliance with Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 (GDPR) and Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE or LSSI), we commit to:
1. All personal information requested from the user and their owners on the different forms of this website will never be used for purposes other than those defined in this privacy policy.
2. We request the minimum information necessary to provide the service correctly and, except with the express authorization of the user and their owners, or legal obligation, it will not be transferred to third parties.
Users and their owners have full control over the data provided for research. Owners own both their dogs and their genetic information and can revoke the permissions to use their data in research at any time, without the need for explanations or cumbersome processes.
Of course, individual information will not be sold or rented to any third party for research purposes without their explicit consent during the kit registration.

Security
Ensuring strong privacy is pointless if we cannot guarantee the security of that same data. That is why in our company we use the latest security and encryption protocols, in addition to, considering current legislation, the relevant technical, physical and administrative measures. All connections to and from our website are covered by the SSL cryptographic protocol.
1. Both servers and data are stored in the cloud. The security system consists of multilayer protection against DoS/DDoS, the latest Cisco networking technology, and fast-access hard drives. In addition, we maintain backups of servers and all company information.
2. Our applications come integrated with an automatic audit process for each change made. All modifications made are recorded as protection against errors or anomalies.
3. We keep the confidential data of our users, both four-legged and two-legged, encrypted, so that no correlation can be established between genetic information, the individual, and their personal data. The information is only decrypted when necessary.
